Hello Podapati Vishnu Sai,
Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community forum.
Here are some steps you can try:
- Check for printed copies:
Sometimes the BitLocker key is saved as a text file on your computer, printed out, or saved to another device. Look for any documentation or files you might have stored.
- USB drive:
If you saved the BitLocker key to a USB drive, insert it and see if you can locate the text file that contains the key.
- Active Directory:
If your computer is connected to a domain, your network administrator might have a copy of the BitLocker key.
- Microsoft Account Recovery:
If you've lost access to your Microsoft account, you can try to recover it using the account recovery process:
- Go to the Microsoft account recovery page: Microsoft Account Recovery
- Follow the prompts to verify your identity and recover your account.
- Local Administrator Account:
If you have another account on your laptop that has administrative privileges, you might be able to unlock the BitLocker drive using that account.
Without the BitLocker recovery key, it can be very difficult to access the data on the protected drive. If none of these steps work, the data on the drive might be unrecoverable.
I hope the information above is helpful.
If you have any question or concern, please feel free to let us know.
Best Regards,
Haijian Shan
