Radius server intermittiently stops responding

We have a Windows 2019 server running NPS. We have been having issues intermittently where the NPS stops responding to the client authenication. It is passing no credentials. It happens about every 1-2 weeks. I have to reboot the server twice for it to get authenication back. I am new to NPS so I don't know why this is happening. I don't think there is any misconfiguration because it works but I have no idea when I need to reboot the server until users complain they cannot login to the wi-fi. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Hello,

Based on my understanding of your problem, I recommend that you enable checking NPS auditing first, because after enabling NPS auditing, the event log will record any authentication failure errors. If NPS auditing is not enabled, you can open CMD as an administrator and run the following command.

    auditpol /set /subcategory:"Network Policy Server" /success:enable /failure:enable

Then perform corresponding troubleshooting based on the error message. For details, you can refer to the following link:

    Best regards
