Securing PKI: Monitoring Public Key Infrastructure

Hello Support,

As per https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/previous-versions/windows/it-pro/windows-server-2012-r2-and-2012/dn786432(v=ws.11) , it states: Applies To: Windows Server 2003 with SP2, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2012

As we are on Windows 2019, could you please either share the 2019 documentation link or confirm the above documentation also applies to 2019?

Thanks,

Regards,

Youcef

    Hello Yocef,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community forum.

I think the link you mentioned also applies to Windows server 2019.

Because in my lab, it is Windows server 2022, I can see most information in this link applies to 2022, too.

Meanwhile, usually the functionality on the server of the old version will generally apply to the new version.

I hope the information above is helpful.

If you have any question or concern, please feel free to let us know.

    Best Regards,

    Daisy Zhou

    Hello Daisy,

    Thanks for your prompt reply.

I would be keen to see a DELTA of events (introduced in later versions of Windows).

It would be great if you have any doc, KB, whitepaper...etc?

    Kind Regards,

    Youcef

    Hello Yocef,

    Good day!

I am sorry, after my research, I do not find any document about the later versions of Windows.

However, I find that the new 2024 document also has the link you mentioned.

    Hello Daisy,

It would be great if we could reach out to Product Group for confirmation and/or a new list of events introduced in later versions of Windows as the threat landscape has expanded.

    Thanks,

    Regards,

    Youcef
