Ever since I installed this and 2 other windows updates, my computer is whacked out. I can't get anything to open--not documents or pictures. I get a pop up error that says: windows cannot find c:\users\my username\OneDrive\pictures\picture name. Make sure you typed the name correctly and try again.

I have also tried to open them on the hard drive, bypassing OneDrive. Also, when the computer rebooted, it changed the root directory name (C:) to Windows. I verified this in disk management. I uninstalled the updates, but it had no effect.

In addition, the event viewer logged these errors within seconds of each other as soon as I turned on the computer (there were more and some were repeated):

0x80070002: Cannot create the process for package Microsoft.Windows.Photos_2024.11120.5010.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe because an error was encountered while launching. My computer is useless until it is fixed. If it can't be resolved here, Is there a tech support number I can call?

    Hello,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community forum.

Based on the description, I understand your question is related to win 11 update.

According to Microsoft update page, there are a few known issues published about this update, and some of them are resolved in the latest update: January 29, 2025—KB5050092 (OS Builds 22621.4830 and 22631.4830) Preview - Microsoft Support

Try install KB5050092 and monitor if the issue fixes. Also, try run below commands to help fix:

    sfc /scannow

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Regarding your question: If it can't be resolved here, Is there a tech support number I can call?
