White screen after deployment and initial login

I have many users who, after initially deploying a windows 10 device and signing in, receive a blank white screen. As an IT Tech, I know the fix, but advising our users over the phone to perform the fix isn't always necessarily feasible. It would make more sense for Microsoft to put literally ANY effort into fixing this in a patch. I understand that it isn't necessarily in Microsoft's best interests to fix things people already bought, as their too busy working on their next idea that will break countless times, but it would be one less headache for me and MANY MANY other techs to fix this one problem.

The issue is when users sign in initially, Microsoft Authenticator (Another app riddled with issues, but lets try to fix one thing at a time) pushed for authentication, but it is hidden behind this white screen. CTRL+SHIFT+ESC doesn't always fix this. The fix is to get the user to ALT+TAB to view the numbers in Authenticator, restart the machine, then hope it doesn't happen again. The problem is, Microsoft Authenticator gives like ten seconds before timing out, So with slower users, we're stuck in this vicious cycle of restarting the machine, using ALT+TAB to view the numbers, authenticate before it's too late, rinse, wash, repeat.

Things that won't fix this:
Offering me to buy a new Surface
Recommending we move our entire enterprise system to windows 11
Telling me some cool trick as a workaround for this

I don't want workarounds, as a company as large as Microsoft shouldn't be putting band-aids on everything like they do. I know I sound harsh, but I firmly believe that one day, MS can be a decent company again. You just have to put forth the effort. I believe in you.

    Hello

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community forum.

I apologize for the inconvenience you and your users are experiencing. I understand that this issue can be frustrating, and I will do my best to assist you.

Regarding the white screen issue, Microsoft is aware of this issue and is actively working on a fix. In the meantime, there are a few things you can try to mitigate the issue.

First, you can try disabling the "Use hardware graphics acceleration if available" option in Microsoft Teams. To do this, open Teams, click on your profile picture, select "Settings," and then navigate to the "General" tab.

Another workaround is to disable the "Use legacy console" option in Command Prompt. To do this, right-click on the Command Prompt icon and select "Properties." Then, navigate to the "Options" tab and uncheck the "Use legacy console" option.

I understand that these are not permanent solutions, but they may help alleviate the issue until a permanent fix is released. I hope this information helps, and please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

    Best Regards,

    Zack Lu
