    Hello,

    There is another way.

If you have access to your computer and open the command prompt as admin, you can enter the command below :

    manage-bde -protectors C: -get

Manage-bde -protectors : manage protection encryption key
C: : you call the disk
-get : you get the recovery key for your disk

You can change disk letter if it is different.

You can enter the command on google, i'm pretty sure it will explain better than me for non-IT person. :)

    Rgds

    Hi asamoah kingsley,

please follow these steps on another device that are in normal use:

    1. Go to the Microsoft BitLocker Recovery Keys website (https://account.microsoft.com/devices/recoverykey).
    2. Sign in with your Microsoft account.
    3. Select the device for which you need the recovery key.
    4. Enter the recovery ID that was displayed on your screen when you were prompted for the recovery key.
    5. Click on the "Get Key" button.
    6. Your BitLocker recovery key will be displayed on the screen.

Note: If you do not have a Microsoft account or if you did not save your recovery key with Microsoft, you may not be able to recover your data.

    Kind regards,

    Lei
