RDCMan Full-Screen Mode Not Functioning Properly When Maximized

Hi everyone,

I'm encountering an issue with Remote Desktop Connection Manager (RDCMan). When the RDCMan window is maximized, full-screen mode doesn’t work as expected. It leaves a reserved space at the bottom for the taskbar, preventing the remote desktop session from occupying the full screen.

Interestingly, when the RDCMan window is in minimized mode, the full-screen mode works properly, and the remote desktop session fills the entire screen as intended.

Is there any way to make full-screen mode work correctly even when the RDCMan window is maximized? Are there any settings, tweaks, or fixes to avoid this issue?

Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

    Hello,

Could you provide a screenshot of the reserved space?

Additionally, could you share your display settings and Remote Desktop settings under Properties? This information will help me check if I can replicate the situation.

    Thank you,

    Hello,

I performed the following workarounds, and the result is now full screen. However, I'm not certain which one was effective:

1.Right click the server connection > Properties>Display settings

2.Make sure RDCM window is NOT maximized. It can be any size window you want, just not maximized.

Right click your server and select "Full Screen"

Your RDC should now be taking up the entire screen.

Alternatively, right click the server in the tree then undock it. Once it’s undocked, go full screen. You’ll need to use the CTRL+ALT+Break to get out of fullscreen.
