Use Windows 11 as DNLA server for Roku Streaming Stick

Hi - I am trying to use my Windows 11 pc as a DNLA server to stream music and photos to the Roku Media Player on my Roku Streaming Media Stick. I have turned on Media Streaming and there it shows all devices on my local network. For Media Players On This Computer, my Desktop, and Unknown Devices I have allowed media streaming and have customized to make all of the media in my library available. It seems as if my computer isn't detecting the Roku's. From Windows Explorer I added to the Music folder the location where I have my music stored (which is on an external hard drive). Now my music shows in the original location as well as the Music folder. For the Music folder, under properties I clicked on sharing and, under Network File and Folder Sharing, I clicked Share. However, when I go to the Roku Media Player and try to look at Album Artist it says that "No compatible media is found". What might I be missing? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    Hello,

It's possible that the media files you are trying to access are not compatible with the Roku Media Player. You may want to check the file format and ensure that it is supported by the Roku Media Player. You can find a list of supported file formats on the Roku website. Additionally, you may want to make sure that the media files are stored in a location that is accessible by the Roku Media Player.

    Best regards

Hi - Thank you for your reply. I'm sorry that I'm late in responding. I just now saw your response. The files are compatible with the Roku player as I have used other servers and programs to access them. They are also stored in an accessible location. Any other ideas? Thanks!
