Hi RH,
Hope you're doing well.
- Ensure that the Hyper-V role is installed on your Windows Server 2022. You can install it through Server Manager or PowerShell.
- Create and configure the virtual machines that users will access. Set up the VMs with the required operating systems and configurations.
- Install the Remote Desktop Services role and configure it to allow users to connect through Remote Desktop.
- Ensure that users have the necessary permissions to access the Hyper-V Manager.
- Instruct users to connect to the server using Remote Desktop and provide them with the necessary credentials. Users should be able to see and manage their VMs using Hyper-V Manager.
- In addition, if you want to restrict access to the host OS primary desktop, ensure that only administrators have access to it. Users connecting via RD sessions should only see the Hyper-V Manager.
