error 0x8024401c usually indicates that there is a problem with the connection between the server and the Windows Update server. Here are some steps you can take to resolve the issue:
- Check your internet connection: Make sure that your server is connected to the internet and that there are no connectivity issues.
- Check Windows Update settings: Make sure Windows Update settings are correct and not disabled.
- Clear the Windows Update cache: Run the following command at the command prompt: net stop wuauserv, then delete everything in the C:WindowsSoftwareDistribution folder, and finally run net start wuauserv again.
- Disable firewalls or security software: If you have firewalls or security software installed on your server, try disabling them and then run Windows Update again.
