Hi Guys,

I unfortunately clicked "remember settings" in the pop-up while connecting to a VM for enhanced session.

I now don't know how to reset that or set another default resolution.

I unfortunately selected quite a unhandy resolution as default :O

    Hi Mike,

    Hope you're doing well.

    1. Close the VM client down.
    2. Open the Hyper-V Manager settings.
    3. Under 'Server', find the 'Enhanced Session Mode Policy'.
    4. Uncheck 'Allow Enhanced Session mode', apply the changes, then re-check it and apply again. This should reset the settings.
    5. Start the VM but do not connect to it immediately. Wait for the VM to start.
    6. Right-click the VM in the console, and you should see the 'Edit Session Settings' option.
    7. Click this, and the original dialogue to select resolution should appear again.

    Best Regards

    Resolution fixed, thanks!

    I have two more points:

    1. I want to share files bidirectionally between host and vm. Tried to share a folder on host machine but was unable to access it in VM. A ping to the local IP of the host machine worked though.
    2. I have nordVPN on the host machine. I could only get internetacces in the VM if I selected external network and directly chose the ethernet interface of the host machine. I could not get it to work with virtual interface of NordVPN. How is that possible.
