Why is this Bitlocker on our devices it is like the new ransomware

I have never had anything so colossally stupendously stupid ever happen to me in my life.

I now have to spend the next week reconfiguring my computer because I have no choice but to wipe it all clean even though it was working just fine before.

A simple bios reset was all it took to bring my entire world crashing down. AS IF THINGS DID NOT SUCK ENOUGH ALREADY.

WHY MUST THIS BE A THING. I AM JUST RANTING HERE BECAUSE I AM PROBABLY GOING TO HAVE TO BUY A WHOLE NEW COMPUTER BECAUSE OF THIS RANSOMWARE THAT MICROSOFT INFLICTED ON US.

IT IS NOT A QUESTION OF LOSING DATA. IT IS A QUESTION OF WASTING MY TIME BECAUSE MICROSOFT DECIDED TO TAKE A SLEDGEHAMMER AND TO MY COMPUTER AND SMASH EVERYTHING TO PIECES.

YES, I AM VERY ANGRY ABOUT THIS..

IT WILL TAKE WEEKS TO GET IT BACK TO WHERE IT WAS AND WHY?? I HAVE THE BITLOCKER KEYS IN MY MICROSOFT ACCOUNT?

I AM NOT SOME DUMB**** WHO LOST THEM. So why am I forced to endure all this pain and hardship????

And I must reiterate that I never ever EVER chose to encrypt my hard drive. I am not working for NASA. I mean eff this bull$#!+

I AM NEVER GOING TO STOP POSTING THESE NASTY MESSAGES ON THIS BOARD. I AM BEYOND ANGRY AND UPSET. GET RID OF THIS STUPID FEATURE OR MAKE IT AN OPT IN SORT OFTHING

NOBODY IS GOING TO STEAL MY LAPTOP AND IF THEY DID WHO CARES. THEY WON'T GET ANYTHING THAT EVERY HACKER ON THE DARK WEB DOESNT ALREADY HAVE. I REALLY AM GETTING TO HATE TECHNOLOGY MORE AND MORE WITH ALL THESE SO-CALLED IMPROVEMENTS THAT JUST WASTE MY TIME.

FOR EVERY HOUR I SPEND WORKING, I SPEND ABOUT SEVEN OR EIGHT HOURS TROUBLE SHOOTING PROBLEMS THAT THE RANSOMWARE SOFTWARE VENDORS BROKE.

    THIS IS GARBAGE.

The problem was I had the keys. I input them over and over and it did nothing. By some miracle I was able to roll back to an earlier bios without wiping my machine.

Somewhere in advanced options from the blue-screen of death. Like IUEFFf or something.

at that point t I was hysterically crashing around like a bull in a China shop.

Whenever I buy a new device removing blocker will be the very first thing I do. What a nightmare!
