Hi Khary Smith-McCall,
Thank you for posting in the Microsoft Community Forum.
The possible scenario is that the laptop boots directly into Windows Server. have you installed the server directly into your physical machine (laptop)? If so, you have a dual operating system on your computer.
You can try restoring the laptop to its original settings.
Restart the laptop and note the initial boot screen. Usually, you can enter the BIOS system by pressing a specific key (such as F2, F12, Esc, or Del), which varies for different brands of computers.
Entering BIOS Setup: Once in BIOS Setup, navigate to Boot Options. Look for the Boot Order or Boot Priority setting. Ensure that the primary hard disk on which your personal operating system (Win Digital series) is installed is set as the first boot option.
After saving the changes, reboot the laptop and see if it boots to the personal operating system.
If the problem is still not solved, you can point me to what I understand to be the problem, when you say "then screen with numbers carrying out commands", as well as using the "winver
You can check your Windows Server version using the "winver" command, take a screenshot and post it in a follow-up reply if the problem is not resolved.
Best regards
