Hello,
Thank you for posting in the Microsoft community forum.
May I know if you have tried to disable this duplicate item in the Launch App TAB?
Here are the steps:
- Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open the task Manager.
- Click the "Launch Application" TAB on the left.
- Look for the Practice Works Server application in the list.
- Right-click the duplicate item found and select "Disable".
- Try to restart the program.
In addition, please check the Startup folder:
- Press Windows + R, type shell:startup, and then press Enter.
- Check the Practice Works Server shortcut in the startup folder and delete any duplicate entries.
If the application still does not start properly, there may be a compatibility issue with the application itself or other configuration issues. You can try to find the program in the "Launch Application" TAB, right-click and select "Properties" to enable "Run this program in Compatible mode".
I hope this helps. If you have any follow-up questions, please contact us.
Best regards
Jacen
