One of my home network Computers get's a general Failure when trying to ping other devices and is not pingable

Hi

Yesterday I tried to print something on my Main PC at home, which ended in Errors to connect. I then tried to remove the printer and add it again, and there I encountered the issue, that it seems to but unable to find the Printer anymore. I then tried to Print on a second PC, which had no problem doing so. After various troubleshooting attemps I tried pinging the printer on PC1 and PC2. PC2 was successful, but PC1 returned a general failure in the Ping. Same thing when I try to ping PC2 or my Router. I then tryied to find a solution online for it and tried several tips, but none helped.

The PC1 is in the same IP Range as all other devices, has the same subnet mask and the same Gateway as all other devices. PC1 and 2 are both Win11, but PC1 is 22H2 and PC2 is 23H2.

does someone have an Idea what I could try ?

    Hello,

    Since the problem is network-related, you can try the following steps to fix it:

    Reset the network

    Search for CMD, open and look for the command prompt (run in administrator mode)

    Enter the following commands in the pop-up command box in sequence (enter the following after executing each line)

    ipconfig /release

    ipconfig /renew

    ipconfig /flushdns

    ipconfig /registerdns

    resetting IP netsh int

    Netsh Winsock Reset

    WinHTTP NETSH Reset Proxy

    Restart the computer to see if the problem can be resolved.

    Reset network settings

    Click Windows + R, enter inetcpl.cpl, open Internet Options, click Advanced, and check "Use SSL 3.0", "Use TLS 1.0", "Use TLS 1.1", "Use TLS 1.2", apply and restart the computer to see if the problem can be resolved.

    Reset proxy server settings

    Press Windows + R, enter inetcpl.cpl, open Internet Options, click Connections, click LAN Settings, check if the proxy server column is checked. If so, uncheck it and click OK. After applying, restart the computer to see if the problem can be resolved.

    Thank you for your reply. We suggest you check PC1 from the following aspects:

    1. Check the firewall and security software to ensure that ICMP requests are not intercepted. It is recommended to temporarily disable the firewall or open the computer in clean mode for troubleshooting.

    1. Check the physical connection to ensure that all connections are good and the network cable is not damaged.
    2. Restart the network equipment including routers, switches and computer hosts.
    3. Open the device manager, find the network card driver, and update the driver to the latest version.
