unable to Curl version to 8.4.0 in windows server

Hi Team,

We are unable to update curl version on windows servers. Kindly advise.

challenge:

  1. from sources we understood that file replace, or deletion is not recommended

deleting system32\curl.exe | daniel.haxx.se

  1. we are unable to identify KB from Microsoft catalog to update it to 8.4.0 from 8.0.1
  2. we tried to install curl software [curl - Download] but it's not helpful

    Is your Windows server version Windows Server 2022? If yes, you can simply download KB5032198.

    Microsoft has included curl.exe version 8.4.0 in the Windows Update released on November 14, 2023, for currently supported on-premises versions of Windows clients and servers. For applicable Windows Update KB numbers, refer to this link (CVE-2023-38545 - Security Update Guide - Microsoft - Hackerone: CVE-2023-38545 SOCKS5 heap buffer overflow), download and install them in the Microsoft Update Catalog.

    I installed attached supported updates find that issue got resolved.
