Mistyped the domain part of my mircosoft ID and now can't get in to Windows

My Client's laptop did an update. Afterwords it came up and said they need to create a new pin.

Logged in with their account ending in @icloud.com. But....

I miss-spelled icloud, making it iclould. (Extra L before the D)

So it wants to send a code to that email (which doesn't exist).

Thought of creating an alias, but the domain part can't be different that what your server hosts.

There's NO option to re-enter your microsoft ID!

I can't get in to windows.

Bitlocker is enabled so I can't get around that without entering my recovery key.

Tried to recover the recovery ID, but...

Can't recover the key. Can't remember what address was used during setup.

Resetting the entire PC is NOT an option :-)

I have a server that I could setup an open relay on (don't really want to do that)

I could do that for the time it takes to get the verification email.

But, I'm not sure if just an alias on that server would suffice. I think I'd have to setup

a whole other organization, MX records, etc.

There SHOULD be an option to change the microsoft ID that you log in to!

    Hello.

You can refer this link to find Bitlocker recovery key:

Find your BitLocker recovery key - Microsoft Support

If you still can't enter Bitlocker recovery key, the only solution is to reinstall the system.

Important: Microsoft Support is unable to provide, or recreate, a lost BitLocker recovery key.

    Best Regards,

    Hania

But Windows WAS booting until it said I had to create a new PIN. Is there NO way to change the mispelled email address?

Would there be something on the EFT partition that stores this email address that I could edit?

Unfortunately, the email address used for your Microsoft account isn't stored on the EFI partition, so editing it there won't help.
