How can I make an domain for my school computers

Hi but technially how do we make an domain because i tried making one for my school and I and my staffs didnt know how to either but we also tried usings the schools local phones and that aint working either

    Hello Admin 16,

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community forum.

     1.Install one Windows server, such as server 2019 or 2022.

    2.Set up IP address and DNS for this server.

    3.Install AD DS and DNS role, then promote this server to Domain Controller.

    4.If it is the first Domain Controller, you should select "Add a new forest" during deployment.

    Install a New Windows Server 2012 Active Directory Forest (Level 200) | Microsoft Learn
