WSUS server with SQL Server database. Can anyone provide me with step-by-step instructions to configure?

Hi, I'm having a devil of a time getting my WSUS server up and running.

I've rebuilt it several times from clean server install and I keep getting different problems. The latest problem is it was working for a few weeks, but suddenly the WID database has started throwing errors, stopping the WSUS server.

Can anyone provide me very kindly with step-by-step instructions on how to configure WSUS on SQL Server?

This would be much appreciated as I'm approaching the end of my tether.

PS. I'm running the WSUS and SQL services under hyper-V. The base operating system is Windows 2022 service. I've applied all updates and patches.

Based on prior experience I highly doubt anyone on Q&A will know how to do this - its is anything but simple. Ive spent over 30 years in IT and I cant follwo any of the MS instructions.
