My Open Windows keep getting moved to the upper left corner of my display every time my screensaver kicks in.

The same issue is happening to me. I'm running Windows 10 as defined below:
This is not an issue with icons on my desktop. I've had these two UHD monitors for two years now and they worked just fine with my previous laptop and docking station. But that pc died and my company issued me a new laptop and dock. Ever since then, my windows will not stay where I place them when the PC screensaver kicks in or the PC goes to sleep. I keep a lot of windows open (10-20) at a time and this is wasting an enormous amount of time moving all my open windows back to where they need to be for me to do my job.

Closest task to a fix I have found so is here:

The last comment in that post about deleting the BagMRU key and the Bags key in regedit appeared to fix the problem momentarily but after a few minutes the issue came right back.

I've been reading dozens of posts about this same issue and nobody at Microsoft seems to believe it is happening or understands how much of a pain it is.
Here's an example of my desktop before it goes to screen saver:

Now I let my PC go to Sleep and when I wake it back up, I get this:

Everything is in the upper left corner of my primary screen.
Not maximized, mind you, but all the windows are stacked on top of one another, all the same size and all as big as will fit on one screen.
This seems to be some sort of registry issue. This is wasting wat too much time and reducing productivity.
PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO FIX IT!

    Hello,

It seems like the issue you're experiencing might be due to a variety of reasons including your operating system's settings, display settings, or third-party software that could be affecting window placement. Here are some steps you can try to fix the issue:

    1. Make sure your operating system is up to date. And update your graphics card drivers.
    2. If you are using any third-party window management software, try disabling it to see if that resolves the issue.
    3. You can reset window position settings within Windows through the registry. Run "regedit" to open the Registry Editor. Navigate to the following key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop. Look for the value named "WindowMetrics" and delete it.(Backup your registry in advance. Incorrect changes can cause system instability). Close the Registry Editor and restart your computer. This should reset the window position settings to their default values.

    I hope this helps.

    Best regards

Nope. It didn't help, much. Now if I shut down the system with windows left open, when I turn it back on, the windows stay where I left them. But not when the machine goes to screensaver mode or power saver mode.
I cant help but think that the system is unable to update my Monitor settings.
I've updated the driver for them, but that hasn't helped either.
    Got any other suggestions?
Can I somehow reset the system without having to reinstall all my apps?

Sorry to hear the issue persists, please try Resetting your PC settings to fix the issue, choosing to save the file during the process:
