pop up

I play world of warships. during play my game will freeze. Then I will get a generic pop up that says "a critical error has occurred, restart or terminate". Or I will get a blue screen that says they must restart your computer, we will do this automatically. Is my windows 11 corrupt?

As far as the generic pop up it won't let me paste it to this email, that is all it says anyway. It won't say what caused the error, or if is a game error or windows error or graphics card error.

As far as the blue screen, I believe it is what is called the blue screen of death. It pops up, then usually disappears real quick. Therefore no screen shot for it.

I have sent my computer to 2 different computer shops, they both ran stress test and the test came out ok. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game and still the problem. One shop replaced the memory sticks still the game is freezing. Yes my computer meets the game requirements. My computer is new. I have contacted world of war ships and they don't have an answer ether.

Please help

    Hello

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community forum.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your game freezing and receiving a critical error pop-up or blue screen. It's possible that there may be an issue with your Windows 11 installation, but it's also possible that the issue is related to your graphics card or the game itself.

To troubleshoot this issue, I recommend checking for any available updates for your graphics card drivers and installing them if there are any. You can also try running the game in compatibility mode or as an administrator to see if that helps.

If the issue persists, you can try performing a clean boot of your system to see if any third-party applications or services are causing conflicts with the game. You can also try running a system file checker scan to check for any corrupted system files.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, you may want to consider reaching out to Microsoft support for further assistance. They may be able to provide additional troubleshooting steps or escalate the issue to a higher level of support if necessary.

    Best Regards,

    Zack Lu
