Can't able to login within the remote desktop environment.

Hello,

I recently switched to a new laptop due to a hardware issue and successfully installed and accessed remote desktop on it. However, I'm encountering login errors within the remote desktop environment. Whether I choose facial recognition, fingerprint, PIN, or security key as my login method, I receive an error stating, "we couldn't sign in with a passkey." Opting for a certificate or smartcard prompts a different error message:

Request Id: ***************
Correlation Id: ************
Timestamp: 2024-09-17T05:28:27Z
Message: AADSTS50192: Invalid request.

Could someone assist me in resolving this issue?

    Hello,

I assume you have Windows Hello set up. Could you try temporarily disabling it and logging in using your full password instead?

Additionally, make sure your network connection is stable and that the host permissions are correctly configured.

Alternatively, try using MSTSC, tick the web account as user authentication under the Advanced TAB.

Under the Local Resources tab, select "Smart cards" and "Web Authn," and then give it another try.

    Best regards,

    Karlie
