Bitlocker issue

Good morning,
I used the Bitlocker function to encrypt the disk, I generated an ID and recovery password, at the end there i tick an option to test on restart. After using this option, I restarted the Dell laptop and a blue screen with Bitlocker appeared. To unlock the disk, after checking the ID which was the same as the one generated and saved, I entered 48 digits, checking each digit, there are no gaps or spaces - after pressing the continue button, a yellow message appears "cannot be unlocked using this recovery key". Despite the fact that the ID matches.

    Hello,

Try to unlock the drive by using the the following command:

    manage-bde -unlock C: -RecoveryPassword <YOUR-48-DIGIT-RECOVERY-KEY>

If you still can't unlock it with the recovery key, the only solution is to format it.

    Have a nice day.

    Best Regards,

    Hania
