Hello all,

I got a new Lenovo Thinkpad with Windows 11 Pro. Whenever I connect to VPN from Windows my speed is 0.01 mbps.

I searched for solutions and I tried:

  • Running wireshark at background (didn't do anything for me)
  • Trying to remove updates (I don't have them installed i think my windows is very recent 10.0.22631)
  • Reinstalled WAN Miniports

I have tried same at Mac and it is working. What can I look for to solve the issue?

    Hello,

Here are some troubleshooting steps that you can try:

    1. Check your internet speed without VPN. This will help you determine if the issue is with your internet connection or the VPN.
    2. Try connecting to a different VPN server. Sometimes, the server you're connecting to may be experiencing high traffic, causing slow speeds.
    3. Disable any firewalls or antivirus software temporarily to see if they are causing the issue.
    4. Check if your network drivers are up-to-date. You can do this by going to Device Manager > Network adapters > Right-click on your network adapter > Update driver.

    Regards,

    Zunhui
