Hi,
I have an issue where the RD license is not being acquired by the session. I had to revoke the license for one of the server so it can be occupied with a different server but the revoked server stills appears in the "Windows Server 2016 - Installed RDS Per Device Cal" as revoked and the new server is not acquiring the license. The new license is currently acquiring a "Windows Server 2016 - Temporary RDS Per Device Cal". Please let me know how I can completely remove the old server so this new server can acquire the license.

Hello,
If the new server is acquiring "Temporary RDS Per Device CALs," it suggests that the licensing server is not recognizing the installed CALs correctly. To resolve this issue and ensure the new server acquires the correct licenses, you can try the following steps:
2.Ensure the CALs is compatible with the server version.
5.Restart the Remote Desktop Services on the licensing server and the new RDS server to ensure they are communicating properly.

Karlie
