Why receiving an Access Denied message when accessing some websites?

Problem: Tried accessing American Airlines, Delta Airlines, and Lowes websites. It happens on all devices related to our server so I assume it is most likely a server issue. The router was reset but that did not solve the issue. I also did an ipconfig but did not go any further with problem-solving. Following is the Access Denied screen message and an attachment of the ipconfig command run. Thank you in advance for your advice.

Access Denied

You don't have permission to access "http://www.aa.com/en-us/flights?" on this server.

    Hi suest_357,

Thank you for posting in the Microsoft Community Forums.

Check if the IP address is blocked

Try accessing the sites from a different network (e.g. a cell phone hotspot). If you are able to access it, it is possible that the IP of the current network is blocked.

    Check firewall and security software

Try temporarily disabling your system's firewall and security software, and then try to access these websites.

Check the firewall logs to see if there are any records that block access to these websites.

    Getting ipconfig output

Ask for the output of the ipconfig command, which can help confirm if there are any problems with the network configuration. Here are a few key points to check the configuration:

IP address and gateway: Make sure the IP address and gateway are configured correctly.

DNS servers: Ensure that the DNS servers are configured correctly and are able to resolve domain names properly.

    Best regards

    Neuvi Jiang

    When did the problem occur?

The access denied screen is it within the browser? And is this browser Edge?

Can it be that the problem happened after Edge updated? (Edge updates pretty often)

    Can you rollback the update?

I assume you've done everything NeuviJ proposed, plus in Edge (and is Edge by any means installed through a GPO) there are options configurable as to to what domains and URL's people are allowed to go and strict and moderate security settings etc. etc. that might have impact.

Perhaps there is some win to gather.

Thank you. I do think the denied access issue is related to Microsoft Edge. The known websites that have been denied access are used infrequently. Before my attempt last week, delta.com had not been accessed since Aug-Sep 2023. I don't recall the exact date of my switch to Microsoft Edge (ME), but I'm aware of ME updates. I will proceed with the kind recommendations to solve the issue and keep you posted.
