    Hello,

Thank you for posting in the Microsoft Community Forums.

To remove your PIN on Windows, follow these steps:

    For Windows 10:

Open Settings: Click the Start menu and select the gear icon to open Settings.

Go to Accounts: In the Settings window, click on "Accounts."

Sign-in Options: Select "Sign-in options" from the left sidebar.

Remove PIN: Under "Windows Hello PIN," click "Remove" and confirm by entering your current password.

    For Windows 11:

Open Settings: Click the Start menu and select the gear icon, or press Windows + I.

Navigate to Accounts: Go to the "Accounts" section.

Sign-in Options: Click on "Sign-in options."

Remove PIN: Find "PIN (Windows Hello)" and click "Remove." Confirm by entering your current password.

If you encounter any issues, such as the "Remove" button being greyed out, you might need to disable certain settings like "Only allow Windows Hello sign-in for Microsoft accounts".

I hope the information above is helpful.

    Best regards

    Yanhong Liu
