Since March of this year I'm receiving this error when attempting to run ntdsutil's "integrity" function:

Last time it worked correctly was February. I run it every month.

Please advise?

    Hi sycomputing,

Thank you for posting in the Microsoft Community Forums.

0xc0000409 is a Windows error code indicating that an exception was encountered when the application was started, STATUS_STACK_BUFFER_OVERRUN.This is usually caused by a stack buffer overflow, and may be due to a program attempting to write data beyond the range of memory allocated to it. This can be caused by a software error or a system problem.

I searched and found people having the same problem as you. Here is the relevant link: error code 0xc0000409 - Microsoft Community

It mentions about repairing system files: SFC scannow - Microsoft Community

Since your posting mentions that Ntdsutil.exe was running fine before, I think it's very likely that there is a problem on the system side.

    Best regards

    Neuvi Jiang
