Can't cancel Windows Education due to old deleted email

Topic,

I have Windows 11 Education, but it is impossible to cancel. I have the old email address, but I can't login due to it no longer existing.

I do not want to pay for this anymore, and Microsoft has made it impossible to contact a live person to assist.

Anytime I try to go to billing or cancel account it wants me to login, but that is impossible.

Very frustrating

    Hello S. Woodward,

thank you for posting on the Microsoft Community Forums.

Based on your description, if you can recover access to the old email, that would simplify things significantly. Check with your email provider to see if there's any way to recover or temporarily reactivate it. If not, it is recommended contact Microsoft support team (Global Customer Service phone numbers - Microsoft Support) for help.

    Best regards,

    Lei

Unfortunately, I am not able to recover the old school account. My issue is that I cannot get in contact with a human person with the US Customer Number. They have completely automated everything, and no matter which direction I choose, It will not connect me to a live person.

I guess I could just wait for the $100 charge to go through with my credit card and refute it. It's all such a hassle, since I can't get in touch with anyone. If there was someone I could do a live chat that would work, but I've been unsuccessful.

Please go to Microsoft Store - Deals on Laptops, Windows Computers & Other Discounts, and you can talk with an expert in the bottom right corner of the page to see if they can provide you any advice.

It literally loops me to the exact same number. This is so ridiculous and laughable at this point. Once you go through the automated system on the phone, it prevents you from calling back to try again until another day. There is no place to actually talk to a real person. Even your suggestion was an a.i. chat. Can you have support email me? I have literally been at this for weeks.

Unfortunately, I can't send emails or contact support on your behalf. You can call at different times of the day, especially early in the morning or late in the evening when call volumes might be lower.
