Windows server 2022 backup won't allow adding additional backups to a Seagate external drive

I did a small test backup to a Seagate external hard drive and when I tried to do another backup it stated "No disks are available for use as a backup storage destination"

The test backup created a Windows image backup. Could that be the problem?

Thanks,

J.R.

    Hi,

Have you created a backup schedule? Windows Backup may prevent you from create on the location if the current backup has different settings than the scheduled backup. You can try deleting the Windows image backup from the Seagate external drive and then attempt to create a new backup. Alternatively, you can try using a different external drive with enough available space to create your backups.
