The proctor then inquired about the wireless nature of my headphones, to which I confirmed. Unexpectedly, the exam was terminated, and I was not permitted to proceed. Upon re-reading the rules, I found no mention of headset restrictions. Immediately after the incident, I contacted Pearson VUE for clarification. They opened a case and later informed me that both wireless and wired headphones were not allowed. Unfortunately, this crucial information was not outlined in the initial requirements.

I didn’t even start the exam and did not even reach a single question before the termination. Exam was never started. Consequently, I have decided not to take the online exam again and plan to opt for an onsite test in the future.

My primary concern is that Pearson VUE seems to have mishandled my situation, causing financial loss. I am determined to obtain my AZ-104 certification but am hesitant to go through Pearson VUE. Additionally, I am uncertain if this incident constitutes a failure, despite not starting the exam.

Furthermore, I am troubled by the lack of an option to retake the test without incurring additional fees. I cannot afford to pay Pearson VUE again, especially if new rules are implemented without prior notice, potentially jeopardizing my exam.

I seek guidance on the best course of action in this situation, as I feel unfairly treated and would like to explore alternative options for obtaining my certification.
