Samba SMB2 SMB3 not working

Hello. I have two NAS boxes in my living room to store and then back up my photos and other media.

I like to use Samba so I have a network drive much like I have at work.

I have enabled SMB 1.0/CIFS file sharing support, but I was told support for this was going away soon in Windows and that I should shift to SMB 3.0 or higher for security. So, both my NAS boxes are set to SMB 3.0.

So, I thought I would be able to turn off SMB 1.0/CIFS file sharing support since I was no longer on that version, but when I do, I can't access my network drives anymore.

What's the correct way to configure everything? It's working now, but will it continue to work in the future once SMB 1.0 support ends?

    Hello,

Because SMBv1 has major security vulnerabilities, SMB 1.0 is not installed by default on any version of Windows 11, but removing SMBv1 may cause some compatibility issues with older computers or software, so you need to install it manually. You can refer to the following link:
