I am an independent IT professional. If you have a method of accessing, or reviving, the old address that would be the simplest way to restore.
    Other options:

If it is data only that you are after, it is possible to offload the data to an external HD.

    Hello Ronnie smith5,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community forum.

If you're locked out of your Windows 10/11 account and can't remember your password, there are a few steps you can try to regain access:

    1. Reset Microsoft Account Password:

If your Windows account is linked to a Microsoft account, you can reset the password online.

Go to the Microsoft password reset page: Reset your password

Follow the prompts to reset your password.

You'll need to provide some information to verify your identity.

    1. Use a Password Reset Disk:

If you created a password reset disk previously, you can use it to reset your password.

Insert the password reset disk into your computer and follow the password reset wizard.

    1. Use Safe Mode to Create a New Account:

Restart your computer and press F8 repeatedly to enter Safe Mode.

Log in with the built-in Administrator account (if it's not disabled).

Create a new user account with administrator privileges.

Restart your computer and log in with the new account.

    1. Use Command Prompt via Recovery Environment:

Boot from a Windows installation media (USB/DVD).

Select "Repair your computer" on the installation screen.

Navigate to Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Command Prompt.

Use the Command Prompt to enable the hidden Administrator account:

    net user administrator /active:yes

Restart your computer, log in with the Administrator account, and reset your password or create a new account.

If you need to access an old email account you no longer use, you may need to contact the email service provider's support team for assistance. Each provider may have different procedures for account recovery.

I hope the information above is helpful.

If you have any question or concern, please feel free to let us know.

    Best Regards,

    Daisy Zhou
