- The user may not have sufficient permissions to keep the drive connected, especially when using different credentials. Make sure that the user has sufficient access rights to the network share. You can check the permission settings of the shared folder on the file server.
- If the server of the network share uses a dynamic IP address, it may cause connection problems. Consider assigning a static IP address to the server
- If the path of the network drive changes (for example, the server name or shared folder name changes), it will cause the drive to be unable to connect.
