I have a MAC and use Microsoft Remote Desktop to access an online service that hosts our bookkeeping files. Since I upgraded to IOS Sequoia 15.0 I am unable to move files to my MAC desktop. The hosting service is unable to reinstate the connection to my MAC. They said it's Apple's problem. I called Apple and they said it's Microsoft's problem for not updating their Remote Desktop to the latest IOS. Please help!

    Hello,

Several users have reported this issue after upgrading their iOS to Sequoia 15.0. To resolve it, you need to grant Microsoft Remote Desktop the necessary permissions to access local networks. You can do this by going to System Settings > Privacy & Security > Local Network and allowing Microsoft Remote Desktop to access the local network. While you are there, you may also want to grant local network access to other applications such as Windows App , if needed. This should resolve the connectivity issue with Microsoft Remote Desktop.

If you continue to experience any issues or need further assistance, please feel free to reach out.

    Best regards,

    Karlie Weng

Thanks, this is interesting. I'm finding that when I edit a Remote Deskto entry and attempt to add directories to be connected to the remote session the Mac won't add the directory. Could this be a permissions setting somewhere?

Hello. I have seque installed on imac 2019. I can't print through the application via the printer. The printer is installed on the mac, in the program settings there is a check mark for printers so that there is redirection from the remote desktop to the printer. Everything works on big sure. What is the reason?
