Here are the steps to reset a domain user password in Windows 10:
- Open the Computer Management tool:
- Press
Win + X
, and select "Computer Management".
- Press
- Expand Local Users and Groups:
- In the left navigation pane, expand "System Tools" > "Local Users and Groups".
- Find the target user:
- Click "Users", and find the user whose password you need to reset in the right pane.
- Reset the password:
- Right-click the target user, and select "Set Password".
If you are using Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) management tools:
- Open Active Directory Users and Computers:
- Press
Win + R
, typedsa.msc
, and press Enter.
- Press
- Expand your domain:
- In the left navigation pane, expand your domain and find the Organizational Unit (OU) that contains the user.
- Find and reset the target user’s password:
- In the right pane, find and right-click the target user, then select "Reset Password".
