Hello,
Thank you for posting in the Microsoft community forum.
We can try the following steps to troubleshoot the problem:
- Disable network-level authentication(NLA) on the RD client.
Open Settings and navigate to System > Remote. Under Remote Desktop, uncheck the box “Allow connections only from computers running remote desktops with network-level authentication (recommended).“
- Try to modify the registry to disable UDP connections for Remote Desktop.
Set the fClientDisableUDP value to 1 in the registry path:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows NT\Terminal Services\Client.
Important:
Serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you follow these steps carefully. For protection, back up the registry before you modify it so that you can restore it if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, see How to back up and restore the registry in Windows.
- Check RDP Protocol Status. Ensure that the RDP protocol is enabled and properly configured on both the client and server machines.

- Use the Event Viewer to find any error messages related to Remote Connection. Before viewing Logs, enable View > Show Analytic and Debug Logs.
As you mentioned, uninstalling the update resolves the issue. Please kindly seed feedback to Microsoft with the Feedback Hub app. In addition, the system update is timely installed after the release of new version update patches.
I hope this helps.
Best regards
Jacen
