    Hi שמוליק פלדמן,

Thank you for posting in the Microsoft Community Forum.

It seems like you're encountering an issue with Server Manager reporting data retrieval failures after installing the Windows security update KB5030213 on your Windows Server 2016 domain controllers. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve this issue:

    1. Check Event Viewer: Review the Event Viewer logs on both DCs for any related errors or warnings. Look specifically in the System and Application logs for events that might provide more details about the data retrieval failures.
    2. Review Windows Update Logs: Check the Windows Update logs to ensure that KB5030213 installed correctly without any errors. Look for any indications of installation failures or issues during the update process.
    3. Check Server Manager Logs: Server Manager also generates logs that might provide more information about the data retrieval failures. Look for Server Manager logs in the %windir%\Logs\ServerManager directory.
    4. Check Network Connectivity: Ensure that there are no network connectivity issues between the Server Manager console and the domain controllers. Data retrieval failures can sometimes occur due to network problems.
    5. Restart Servers: Try restarting both domain controllers to see if it resolves the issue. Sometimes a simple reboot can clear temporary issues.
    6. Verify Permissions: Ensure that the account you are using to access Server Manager has appropriate permissions to retrieve data from the domain controllers. It should be a member of the appropriate administrative groups.
    7. Check for Known Issues: Search online for any known issues related to KB5030213 or Server Manager data retrieval failures after installing this update. Microsoft's support website and forums can be valuable resources for finding information and solutions.
    8. Rollback the Update (if necessary): If you suspect that the update might be causing the issue, consider uninstalling KB5030213 from both domain controllers to see if the problem resolves. You can do this through the "Programs and Features" control panel.

    Best regards

    Neuvi Jiang
