local network issue

I have 2 desktops (A=W11, B=w10), a NAS, and 3 laptops (C=W11, D=W10, E=W10).

The NAS and all the laptops appear when I open Network in FileExplorer on any computer.

BUT neither desktop appears on any computer under Network until I type in the UID of the desktop.

If I close and reopen FE, the same process is required.

How do I get the desktops to appear without entering the UID??

    Hello,

I recommend that you try the following methods to see if they can fix the problem:

    1. Turn on network discovery and file and printer sharing, and then turn off password-protected sharing.

Select the Start button, and then select Settings.

In the Find Settings search bar, type "Manage advanced sharing settings," then select "Manage advanced sharing settings" from the recommended results.

In the Advanced Sharing Settings window that appears, under Private, select Turn on Network Discovery, and then open File and Printer Sharing.

Under All Networks, select "Turn off password-protected sharing."

    1. Enable the sharing service to start automatically. This issue typically occurs when one of the services is not working properly.

Press the Windows logo key + R.

In the Run dialog box, type "services.msc," and then select OK.

Right-click each of the following services, point to Properties, and if the service isn't running, select the Start menu, and then select Automatic next to Startup Type:

    workstation

    Function discovery provider host

    Publishing Feature Discovery Resources

    SSDP Detection

    UPnP Device Host

    Best regards
