Can cluster sets (new feature of WS2019) work with shared (SAN) storage

Hi,

Can cluster sets (new feature of WS2019) work with shared (SAN) storage?

Separate clusters with shared block storage accessed by FC and VM files placed on CSV.

i.e. storage is accessed by cluster nodes via FC, not SMB. (not hyperconverged)

Kind regards,

Pawel

    Hi,

The cluster set document only mentions the limitation on S2D, so I assume it works with FC SAN since failover cluster works with that. The requirements and limitations for cluster sets can be found here.
