Hi There;

I am running a web application. Server A's operating system is Windows 2012. Server B's operating system is Windows 2019. As per business requirements, I must copy the entire folder to Server B. The size of the folder that I want to copy is 589 GB. It mainly consists of media files. It contains 149 folders and 47126 files. Whenever I try to copy them within the network, I get an “Unspecified Error ” error. How can I copy the entire folder to Server B? Thanks in advance.

    Hello,

    Based on your description, it is true that you may encounter network connection issues or file system errors when copying large folders.

    You can first use the ping command to test whether the network connection between server A and server B is stable. And then you can check to see if the target folder on Server B has enough disk space to accommodate the entire folder.

    Finally, it is recommended that you try using the Robocopy command line utility to copy the entire folder.

    Thanks,

    Shujun
