Hello,
Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community forum.
Based on what you've described, here are some of the possible causes of your laptop's slow network and solutions:
- Check that your network adapter drivers are up to date. You can go to the manufacturer's official website to download and install the latest drivers.
- Use security software to fully scan your laptop for viruses or malware. These may interfere with the network connection.
- Trying to change the DNS server to a public DNS, such as Google's DNS (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4) or Cloudflare's DNS (1.1.1.1), may improve your connection speed.
In the Network and Sharing Center, select your network connection, and in the Properties, change the DNS settings for item 4, Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4).
- Try clearing your browser cache, disabling unnecessary plug-ins, or using a different browser to test your internet connection.
I hope the information above is helpful.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to let us know.
Regards,
