    Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Community and I'll be glad to assist you today.

I understand that your device is asking for BitLocker Recovery Key. However, when signing in with your Microsoft account to find the key, you are having trouble receiving the verification code on your Phone number.

    1. Do you have any other Verification methods (like e-mail address or Microsoft Authenticator) to receive the code?
    2. Did you check if your Phone number blocks the text from Unknow numbers?

If you are having trouble receiving the verification code on your Phone number, try these recommendations below and see if it helps.

    1. Clear your Browser History, Cache and Cookies. Then, request the verification code.
    2. Try connecting your device to a different Wi-Fi network (or) using your mobile network and see if you can receive the verification code.
    3. Use incognito mode (Private browsing) or use a different device.

If you are still experiencing issues, see if you can add another verification method to your account.

Add a new way to sign in -

    https://support.microsoft.com/help/bf2505ca-cae...

Once a new verification method (say, email address) has been added successfully, you can request the code on your alternate email address.

See the "Troubleshoot Verification Code Issues" article for reference:

    https://support.microsoft.com/help/409090c4-92b...

If nothing worked you may have to try the account recovery procedures to recover your account first and then proceed finding the BitLocker recovery key.

I hope this information helps. If you have any questions, please let me know and I will be happy to help you further.

    Best regards,

    Gunasekar N
