Bitlocker and Shadow Copy

We are required to encrypt our servers with BitLocker. We use a second internal drive for Shadow Copy storage. We are finding that when a drive is encrypted we can not select the second drive for Shadow Copy storage. I am seeing this on 2 Server 2019 computers and one Server 2016. Is it possible to set a second drive as storage for Shadow Copy on an encrypted drive?

Hi,
As MS Support Team confirmed that VSS only can be run on same volume if Bit Locker enabled.
It is due to security concern.
And no workaround for that at this moment.

Thanks for your time!
Best Regards,
Mico Mi
