Hi Community,

Recently, I am trying to update Adobe acrobat reader on my windows 2016 and 2019 OS but its showing some application initialization error. I checked some blogs but there also, its referring to same adobe downloads URL. It would be great if someone can help me with the solution.

Note :- I don't have internet connection on my servers so need to push offline installer on it but its not working.

Thanks & Regards

    Hello,

Since I do not have an Adobe application environment, I cannot reproduce your problem. Here are some general troubleshooting motheds for application initialization error:

First, in an offline environment, you can use another computer with internet access to download the offline installer for Adobe Acrobat Reader from the official website. Look for the version that's compatible with your operating system and transfer the downloaded offline installer to your server using a USB drive or through your internal network.

Then, right-click on the installer file and select "Run as administrator" once transferred. If the installation still doesn't work, you can try running the installer in compatibility mode. Right-click the installer, go to Properties, then Compatibility tab, and select a previous version of Windows to emulate.

It is necessary to make sure your Windows Server is up to date with the latest updates and patches. Besides, try disabling antivirus software temporarily to see if that allows the installation to proceed.

Additionally, check the event viewer for any application logs that might provide more information.

If none of these steps resolve your issue, you might need to consult the official Adobe support forums for further assistance.

    I hope this helps.

    Best regards
