Where is the group policy for the TCP Global Parameters auto-tuning level? . It gives the message "The above autotuninglevel setting is the result of Group Policy overriding any local configuration" but it does not tell you where it is in the group policy.

    Hello,

Thank you for posting in the Microsoft Community Forums.

The TCP Auto-Tuning level setting in Windows can indeed be influenced by Group Policy. Here are some steps you can take to find and potentially modify this setting:

    1. Group Policy Editor:
      • Open the Group Policy Editor by typing gpedit.msc in the Run dialog box (Win + R).
      • Navigate to the following path: Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Network > QoS Packet Scheduler.
      • Look for any settings that might be related to network performance or TCP settings. Although the exact policy name might vary, it is generally under network-related settings.
    2. Registry Editor:
      • If you cannot find the setting in Group Policy, you can check the registry to see if there are any related policies set.
      • Open the Registry Editor by typing regedit in the Run dialog box (Win + R).
      • Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\QoS

I hope the information above is helpful.

    Best regards

    Yanhong Liu
