    Hello,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community forum.

Based on the description, I understand your question is related to Server 2012 R2.

Windows Server 2012 and Windows Server 2012 R2 ended on October 10, 2023. After this date, these products will no longer receive security updates, non-security updates, bug fixes, technical support, or online technical content updates. It is recommended to upgrade to latest server version.

    Have a nice day.

    Best Regards,

    Molly

    HI Molly,

Thank you very much for your quick response. appreciate it.

So if the Windows Server 2012 R2 not supported anymore why in this page https://msrc.microsoft.com/update-guide/vulnerability/CVE-2024-38063 still listed updated for Windows Server 2012 R2.

Our windows is original and activated but those patch it seems very critical. so if we must pay to got this update, just let me know how to do that, simple as that.

    Please help.

    Thank You

    Hello,

While Server 2012 R2 has ended support, there is ESU available. You need to use Extended Security Updates (ESUs) for up to three years. ESUs are available for free in Azure or need to be purchased for on-premises deployments. Microsoft has guidance for both cloud and on-premises solutions. Go here to learn more.

Extended Security Updates (ESU) for Windows Server include security updates and bulletins rated critical and important

    Best regards,

    Molly
