Dear Microsoft team,

I am writing you regarding a Sign In issue on Windows 10 and Windows 11.

Recently I bought a Surface Pro 7 and I follow all the steps to configure my Windows 10 version, apparently I am not able to choose a Home or Pro Windows edition. So I try with my Outlook account, then with a Hotmail, also with 3 diferent organization accounts and the message remains as:

"Something went wrong"

  • Could you please assist me ? I am ussing the following work account: ******@ilotraining.onmicrosoft.com

In addition, I tried two step autentificator, by the phone app, and the passwords are ok, I loged in in other devices to double check my accounts but in this device is useless.

Regards and thanks in advance for your time.

    Hello Business Intelligence,

Thank you for posting on the Microsoft Community Forums.

Are you configuring the device for the first time? You should log in with the local account created during the initial setup wizard instead of using another account. If you prefer to use a different account, you should connect to the network or add the other account to the domain.

    Best regards

    Neuvi Jiang
