I recently installed Windows Server to be able to enhance my it sensibilities. But after I downloaded it on my laptop, Windows Server immediately shows up upon boot. I'm also unable to access the traditional Windows startup (password, screensaver, applications). Is there any way that I can reverse this, or even better, remove windows Server and get my laptop back to normal settings? PS: Do you know a lot about Windows Server that you can share with me? I have Windows Server 2022 Datacenter Evaluation.

    Hi Khary Smith-McCall,

based on your description, it appears that your laptop already has Windows Server 2022 Datacenter Evaluation Edition installed, and you don't have access to the traditional Windows Startup program. Here are some steps that may help resolve your issue:

    1. Try pressing Ctrl + Alt + Delete to see if you can access the Windows security options. If you can, try changing your password or turning off the screen saver.
    2. If you don't have access to Windows security options, try pressing the F8 key while booting up to get to the advanced boot options. From there, you can try to boot Windows using "Last Normal Operation" or "Safe Mode".
    3. If none of the above steps resolve the issue, try booting your computer using Windows Server installation media and select the "Repair Your Computer" option. This will initiate an automatic fix that may resolve your issue.
    4. If you still can't fix the problem, you can try reinstalling Windows Server or restoring your laptop to factory settings.

Regarding Windows Server, it is an operating system for enterprise-grade IT environments with many features and tools for managing networking, storage, virtualization, security, and more. If you need more information about Windows Server 2022, you can visit Windows Server 2022 | Microsoft Evaluation Center.

    Hope it helps.

    Best regards,

    Lei
