Allow other PCs to show on the Network

I have 3 pcs in the same room. I'm a bit of a pc rescuer of older devices. All on Win 10 however. 2 on Pro and one on Home.

On the newer Dell Optiplex it shows itself + the other 2 pcs. And access them.

On one other, A Compaq, it shows itself but not the Dell or a (3rd laptop) a Toshiba.

On the Toshiba it see's the Compaq, but doesn't show itself or the the Dell. The Toshiba can access the Compaq

I wonder what the remedy is for this? I have gone through all the File Sharing options, multiple times. Went into sharing to make sure all sharing is given. This does have this long time barely average knowledge user stumped.

Have you any suggestions? Thanks!

    Hello,

I recommend that you try the following methods to see if they can solve the problem:

    1. Press the shortcut keys win+R, enter "services.msc" to enter the service management interface, and check whether the workstation service is started. If not, set it to start automatically.
    2. Turn on network discovery and file and printer sharing, and then turn off password-protected sharing.

Select the Start button, and then select Settings.

In the Find Settings search bar, type "Manage advanced sharing settings", and then select "Manage advanced sharing settings" from the recommended results.

In the Advanced Sharing Settings window that appears, under Private, select "Turn on network discovery" and then open "File and Printer Sharing".

Under All Networks, select "Turn off password-protected sharing".

    1. Enable the sharing service to start automatically. This problem usually occurs when one of the services is not working properly.

Press the Windows logo key + R.

In the Run dialog box, type "services.msc", and then select OK.

Right-click each of the following services, select Properties, and if the service is not running, select the Start menu, and then select Automatic next to Startup type:

    Function Discovery Provider Host

    Function Discovery Resource Publishing

    SSDP Discovery

    UPnP Device Host

    Best regards

Thank you sir. But I cannot get to any of the that. Every start produces an Error and reports to be Auto Repair, then Diagnosing your PC and then ERROR: reporting it made note of some thing and it was going to restart and then the process repeats. I can't get to where you speak. I am familiar with them all. But can't get there. Thanks however.
